Toronto’s TT blends R&B, Afrobeats, and melodic hip-hop to create a sound that reflects the city’s vibrant diversity. “My music embodies Toronto; it’s a blend of everything it represents,” she says. At 23, the Scarborough-born artist released her debut single, “Out of Touch,” a feel-good track for reflection and escape. TT’s musical journey began in church, where she was both a singer and drummer. Proud of her Congolese heritage and her place in the LGBTQ community, TT embraces her francophone identity. She values her connection to multiple communities and feels privileged to share stories often left untold. TT aims to create music that resonates with listeners, offering both relatability and answers to life's struggles. “I want to use my platform to give back, inspire, and motivate,” she says. “I’m from the culture and for the culture, and that will never change. Every step is for them.”
