RON is a singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Toronto. She transmutes her experiences of grief, heartbreak, and intergenerational trauma through deeply vulnerable lyricism and evocative arrangements. She is known for her intricate and groovy piano riffs, soulful sax melodies, and raw vocal style that features plentiful vibrato and note-bending. Her style ranges from groovy chamber pop to deeply intimate ballads. Although primarily influenced by popular genres, she subtly incorporates elements of her Greek heritage in her songwriting, as well as the piano stylings of Japanese RPG's and anime that she grew up on. She has been compared to other chamber pop artists such as Lucy Rose, Fiona Apple, Willow, and Regina Spektor. RON is the sole writer, producer, and sound engineer of her music, and has full expression of her creative vision.
