For the past three years, Real Kevin has been making a name for themselves in Southern Ontario’s music scene with a unique blend of Alt-Rock, mixing garage rock, post-punk, and grunge. Known for their high-energy performances and an ever-expanding catalog of genre-bending tracks, this power trio fuses raw intensity with melodic finesse, creating a nostalgic atmosphere that lingers long after the show ends. Their hard work has paid off, earning them a semifinalist spot in the 2023 97.7 HTZ-FM Rock Search and a performance at the Cicada Music and Arts Festival. In 2024, they energized crowds at Canada Day celebrations at Lakeside Park and took part in the Gord Downie Wenjack Fund Raiser at The Performing Arts Centre. Their latest single “April,” released in December 2024, has already garnered over 1,200 Spotify streams and 11,000 YouTube views in its first month. It will be featured on their upcoming EP, Dynamite Hut, set to release this spring.
