Matt Kristan and Elfrida are a rock band from Hamilton, Ontario. The band has many influences across various genres including The Lumineers, John Mayer, The Rolling Stones, Chris Stapleton, and many more. Matt Kristan has changed his sound including the influences of pop, country, and Americana rock to blend a sound of his own. Kristan's solo release, "The Harder I Fall," has reached new heights accumulating over 300,000 streams on Spotify alone making it his best selling single to date. Over the past two years, the band has played various venues across Toronto and the rest of the GTA including the legendary Horseshoe Tavern as well as playing at Canadian Music Week in both 2023 and 2024. Kristan, Sandro Mastromatteo, Gord Bosiljevac, and Matt Del Conte started the band Elfrida back in 2023 and will be releasing music under that name solely in the coming months. They are set to record an album in February and March 2025.
