Danny Hastings is a renowned New York City photographer celebrated for his iconic Hip Hop album covers. Beginning his career in the early '90s, he shot over 150 album covers and directed 50+ music videos, with notable works like Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers, Big Pun’s Capital Punishment, and NAS’ I Am.... A pivotal figure in the era of analog photography, he developed and printed all his own film, capturing the essence of '90s Hip Hop culture. Hastings has amassed over 40,000 negatives, some of which are yet to be revealed. In 2015, he founded the Official Latino Film Festival, later merging it into the NVISION Film and Music Festival. He is currently the Creative Director for Wu-Tang Productions, overseeing album covers and concert visuals. His fine art photography has been displayed in prestigious museums and galleries worldwide, including Sotheby’s New York and The Museum of Modern Art.
