Frans Kok (1970) attended the School of Journalism and began his career in 1993 as a market researcher, specializing in communication and media research. Since 2009, he has worked for various Joint Industry Committees (JICs) for media audience measurement in the Netherlands. At the National Luister Onderzoek (NLO), the JIC for audio measurement, he was responsible for the transition to the new electronic measurement method (2023). Frans was one of the founders of the Nationaal Media Onderzoek (NMO), where he now works as COO. In addition to his work at NMO, Frans is an ISO auditor with the Dutch association of market research agencies (Data & Insights Network). In 2024, he co-founded ‘De Merkverkenners’, an agency for brand constellations.
