About

Vitalia

Vitalia is a queer Ukrainian-Canadian singer-songwriter, actress, bass player, and DJ whose work explores women’s inner lives: their self-worth, internal dialogue, and place in society. With a jazz studies background and a love for alternative and electronic pop, she builds her artistry through eras, each revealing a different facet of her identity and emotional landscape. Her EP ‘alone in a crowd’ marked her “sad girl pop” era, an intimate project about heartbreak, shame, self-image, and rediscovering oneself after collapse. Sonically blending Billie Eilish’s softness, Lady Gaga’s theatricality, Paramore’s grit, and Florence + the Machine’s drama, the EP introduced her raw, introspective storytelling. Its standout track “molly” surpassed 60K views within three months. Her upcoming EP launches her fully into a “hot girl summer” electronic era inspired by KAYTRANADA. Using sensuality as provocation and reclamation, the project challenges how women are perceived and policed, carving out a world where they can take up space unapologetically. Sonically, it leans into bold, club-ready textures. Vitalia merges her acting background with music to create an immersive experience for her audience: she invites them to loosen up, be present, and reconnect with their most genuine selves.
