Tumelo “MELO-T” Ponalo has been pioneering African Electronic Dance Music in Canada for over a decade with shows across Canada, USA, Netherlands, Portugal, Brazil, South Africa, Zimbabwe and more. He has performed for some of the biggest festivals, like Bluesfest Ottawa, Makossa Brasilia, Brazil, including recently completing a tour of Brazil promoting his music there. He has performed in cities like Rio De Janeiro, Salvador, Brasília and São Paulo, Johannesburg and Cape town. Many of his releases have been featured on Spotify’s, New Music Friday Canada, Mint Canada, Crxss Current, Afro House Pulse, Afro Tech Now amd many more. MELO-T runs his own music label called Afro Creative Records which has a focus on releasing Afrocentric sounds from across the globe. On the same label his own music and the artists he represents have all been featured on Traxsource and Beatports Feature pages, Weekend weapons, Hype selections,and Essentials charts with some being in the top 100 globally. They have collaborated with artists from across the world and are one of the fastest rising Afro house and dance labels in globally
