Tom Leger is a Montréal based singer and drummer shaping a raw and physical form of francophone indie music. A former founding member of the duo Valse Fréquence, he now leads a project where the voice and the drums move together, creating a language built on tension, instinct, and melody. His debut single “Toujours mieux” (2025), co produced with Léo Leblanc (Zen Bamboo, blesse), blends rock, lo fi edges, and electro acoustic textures into a concise and haunting track that marks the beginning of his first full length, expected in 2026. On stage, Tom performs from behind the drum kit with an energy that is both magnetic and vulnerable. The body, the rhythm, and the voice become the foundation of the show, with songs that move between tension and release, crafted arrangements, and a visceral sense of pulse. The project has already been noticed by POP Montréal, St Roch XP, and CBC/Radio Canada. With influences ranging from contemporary music to indie rock, Tom Leger stands out as part of a new wave of francophone artists exploring movement, texture, and emotional intensity. His music advances like a living rhythm — physical, poetic, untamed.
