East Coast singer-songwriter Lennie Gallant has released 16 albums of original songs, for which he has earned a host of awards and nominations including ECMAs, JUNOS, Canadian Folk Music Awards and Prix Éloizes. His hit song ‘Peter’s Dream’ was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame for its powerful storytelling and for being embraced as an East Coast anthem. Gallant is a member of the Order of Canada, and has been recognized for his humanitarian efforts through national honors highlighting his support of social causes. He is an international touring artist whose songs have been covered by many renowned artists including Jimmy Buffett, and has shared the stage with respected performers such as David Foster, Lucinda Williams, Patti Griffin and Roger Hodgson to name just a few. His most recent album ‘Shelter From the Storms’ is described as a powerful reflection on the turbulent times we live in, but also celebrates the enduring human capacity for dealing with these times through connection, love and laughter. It was recently recognized by Roots Music Canada and Penguin Eggs as one of the Top Ten Albums of 2025.
