About

Sydney

Syd Warwick is a Vancouver, B.C. based singer-songwriter known for moving live performances defined by vulnerability that feels both comforting and cathartic. Blending rich, timeless storytelling with pop sensibilities and powerfully emotive lyrics, her sound has been compared to that of Kacey Musgraves, Ashe, Phoebe Bridgers, and Olivia Dean. A recipient of both FACTOR and Creative BC Artist Development grants, Warwick released her debut EP, ‘Sad Astra’, via Nevado Music (home to artists such as Leif Vollebekk, Bahamas, and Low Roar). The EP merges Americana influence with modern indie-pop production and has received regular national radio play across Canada, including SiriusXM, CBC Radio, and The Peak Vancouver. In addition to four large-scale Canadian tours, Warwick has performed at many of the country’s most sought-after music festivals, including Canadian Music Week, Rifflandia, Song & Surf Music Festival, Tiny Lights Music Festival, Sunfest Country Music Festival, and Westward Music Festival. Along the way, she has shared stages with and opened for emerging Canadian artists such as Luca Fogale, Sam Lynch, Jordan Klassen, Haley Blais, and Fionn. Now focused on international touring and co-writing, Warwick is currently working on her debut full-length album between Vancouver and Nashville, with new releases scheduled for 2026.
