Ssunday is a Nigerian singer, painter and photographer based in Toronto. His music draws from the intersection between West African highlife rhythms and Soul melodies— telling stories of love and loss; of connection and distance. The band consists of Malcolm Hillier on Bass, Michael Mintchev on drums and Sunday on Guitar and vocals. He released his debut EP Blue Sunday in 2023.
