Hyaenas is an Indie Alt-Pop band known for fierce energy, raw connection, and a sound that fuses 80s nostalgia with modern production. Blending pulsing synths, gritty guitars, and emotionally charged lyrics, they channel the spirit of The Go-Go’s and The Beaches while exploring the bold and vulnerable sides of human nature. Since their explosive debut opening for The Pack AD in 2021, Hyaenas have lit up stages across Canada with their palpable chemistry. Their debut EP Little Trophy (2023) sparked sold-out Vancouver shows, festival headliners, and support slots for Kimmortal, ACTORS, and Shred Kelly. The EP debuted at #11 on the National !Earshot Charts, appeared in Netflix’s My Life with the Walter Boys, and surpassed 160K streams worldwide. Now, Hyaenas are entering a new era with their upcoming full-length album Human Nature – a fearless exploration of burnout, gender politics, self-doubt, and identity.
