Like a phoenix, Fatal Vision burst back into the music scene in 2021 after a 30-year hiatus. Born in the era when hard rock ruled MTV and arenas across North America, the Ottawa-based band—led by vocalist Simon Marwood—combined influences from Asia, Journey, Europe, Survivor, and Van Halen to craft a refreshing melodic rock sound. In 2019, Marwood revisited decades of original material, reigniting Fatal Vision with a powerhouse lineup: Andrew Burns (bass), Juan Miguel Gomez Montant (guitar), Deniz Lim-Sersan (keyboards), and Alex Wickham (drums). Together they forged a sound both nostalgic and modern. Their debut single Turn Around hit #10 on the UK and New Zealand Apple Rock Charts, while albums Once (2022) and Twice (2023) earned global placements, with Twice debuting at #1 in Canada and Hungary. Three Times Lucky (2024) featured collaborations with legends from Toto, Whitesnake, and Journey. Fatal Vision has toured Europe, played extensively across Canada, and its members have performed at every major music festival with other acts. With more than 1 million streams, 40+ videos, and their upcoming album Four Sides to Every Story set for 2026, Fatal Vision proves melodic rock not only endures—it thrives.
