Sherry Jacoby-Rusyn is an Ontario-based singer-songwriter crafting emotionally rich acoustic pop/rock and indie folk rooted in honest storytelling. Drawing inspiration from artists like Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, and Colbie Caillat, her songs blend vivid imagery with introspective lyrics that speak to the romantic and reflective heart. Raised on piano lessons taught by her mother and later shaped by guitar-driven songwriting, Sherry developed a distinct voice for weaving personal experiences into relatable, story-forward songs. This foundation led to the release of her debut EP “My Light” and the anthemic single “Phoenix.” She has since released singles including “For the Rest of Time,” “Puzzle,” and “Constellation,” produced by acclaimed Austin-based producer Shannon McArthur (Dashboard Confessional). Sherry continues to perform throughout the Greater Toronto Area, building momentum through intimate, emotionally resonant live shows that invite listeners into moments of connection, reflection, and hope.
