Sasha Martyniuk is an indie musician and singer-songwriter from Kyiv, Ukraine, now based in Vancouver, Canada. His music blends rock, electronic, and classical influences into a dreamy, melancholic sound defined by intimate vocals and emotionally direct songwriting. His latest album, Frames, explores themes of distance, vulnerability, and human connection in times of uncertainty. Built around personal experiences of separation and resilience, the record captures quiet, fragile moments and translates them into cinematic, mood-driven compositions. Sasha performs both solo and with a full band, presenting original material alongside carefully reimagined covers. He has performed at venues and events across Vancouver, including the Canadian Music Centre, and his work has been featured on local radio, including Vancouver’s 100.5 FM. He completed his Music Diploma at Vancouver Community College (VCC) in Spring 2025, where he developed a strong foundation in composition, musicianship, vocal technique, rhythm, audio production, and performance. This training supports his work as a songwriter, composer, and bandleader. Alongside music, Sasha works as a content creator specializing in videography, photography, and video editing for artists and brands in Canada and Ukraine. Through music and visuals, he aims to create honest, emotionally resonant work that connects deeply with audiences.
