About

Sara Sue

Toronto-based indie pop singer-songwriter and actress Sara Sue Vallee launched her music career in 2022 with her debut EP Skin & Bones, following years devoted to cinema and performance. Drawing from her background in acting and filmmaking (Beans, Dans ma Tête, On Parle de Sexe), Vallee’s songwriting is driven by vivid imagery and emotional nuance. Her second EP, Snakes in Paradise (May 8, 2026) marks her boldest and most sonically audacious work to date. This urban electro pop collection explores self-sabotage, delusion, escapism, and cyclical patterns of growth. Written across Mexico, Toronto, and Montreal, the five-song EP is inspired by the Ouroboros—embracing creation through destruction and the eternal return to self-understanding. Her single “July 19” reached #1 on Radio CKRL 89.1 (Quebec) in 2022 for several weeks. Vallee’s music has been featured in international publications including The Deli Mag, Honk Magazine, IGGY Magazine, Clout, Mystic Sons, and Illustrate Magazine. In 2024, she completed the Artist Entrepreneur program at Canada’s Music Incubator in Toronto, and in 2025, she signed a publishing deal with Bloc Notes.
