Solitude and connection: a reality and desire for Montréal based pop artist Flara K. She spent half a decade in a van as a touring artist before transitioning to a solo artist and professional songwriter and has spent the last three years in studios in Montréal, London, Paris and L.A writing what became her debut album ‘Seasons’. The time is now to share the sound of Flara K, and the woman she’s become in the process. Having previously released a series of short E.P.’s and several one-off singles, primarily as a featured artist, this new body of work encapsulates a world of personal stories, both heavy and light, intertwined with tongue-in-cheek lyrics that showcase what womanhood has felt like for Flara K.
