Oleyada is a Canadian artist of Uruguayan descent, crafting dreamy, lo-fi indie pop from her bedroom studio. Her songs blend personal reflection with impressionistic imagery, lush vocal layers, and guitar driven instrumentals. This distinct sonic palette has made her a standout in Canadian synch, with notable placements in CBC’s ‘Workin’ Moms’, Netflix’s ‘Bet’, and Amazon Prime’s ‘The Lake”. In 2024, she released her debut EP ‘Late Night Jam’ with support from FACTOR. The project earned recognition from Spotify and Apple editorial playlisting, the CBC and college radio, and drew inspiration from the sophistication of Parisian jazz clubs and the vitality of Toronto’s live music scene. Now, Oleyada is leaning further into her instincts, embracing a rawer, more hands-on approach to production alongside her fiance and co-producer, Mathew Fantini. Her upcoming singles strip back polish in favour of grit and emotion, landing somewhere between indie rock, dream pop and alt-R&B.
