Medussah is an electronic, experimental project from Ecuador based in North Bay ON, Canada. Medussah shows a range of sounds that belong to electronic, rock, and dance music, creating a unique space ambiance and musical experience. Samanta Izquierdo has been in the music scene for ten years; in the United States, she received ¬first place in the vocal contest of Indianapolis, Indiana, in the year. 2002. Her studies continued in the National Conservatory of Music and University in Quito, Ecuador with a B.A. in music education and opera singing. Sebastian Gabela is a composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Sebastian has been active in the cultural and music scene since 2000. Has vast knowledge in music production and composition, having won lots of music contests and special mentions. Medussah has been invited to participate in several festivals, theaters, tv shows, international shows such as Teatro Sucre, Teatro Sanchez Aguilar, Fete de la musique, and Sala Zitarrosa, a prestigious theater in the Montevideo, Uruguay also touring in Argentina. Medussah was selected for the Ecuadorian – Britain Chamber of Commerce to perform at the London University Theater and participate in a mini-tour in England in three cities, London (EN) Cambridge and Nottingham.
