Kitsch is a new band with a fresh, whimsy take on indie rock. Defined by jazz and psychedelic influences, 3-part harmonies, and spacy synth tones, Kitsch brings a unique yet familiar sound to Departure 2026. This sound is combined with an art-driven approach to form a captivating musical formula that is fun and dynamic while not lacking depth. In only 6 months together, Kitsch has played 3 festivals and built a committed following. “Jazz Chords”, Kitsch’s debut single, comes out February 13th, followed by their debut record this summer.
