Roxy Rawson has carved a unique niche in the anti-folk genre, captivating audiences with her punk-infused violin and piano performances in San Francisco, London, and Berlin. Known for her impish violin vocals infused with classical and jazz influences, she quickly attracted the attention of producer Al Mobbs. Rawson secured a development deal with Sony shortly after she began performing in London. This led to the release of her debut EP ‘Changing Things’. Praised by John Kennedy, Rob de Bank, and Tom Robinson, her music played on mainstream radio leading to high-profile performances at iconic UK venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, the Royal Albert Hall, Union Chapel, and the Roundhouse, along with support slots for Yasmin Levy and Sia. Now based in Berlin, 2026 will see the release of the first singles from her highly anticipated follow-up album, with lush orchestral arrangements written in collaboration with Jherek Bischoff, drawing on her diverse musical heritage and providing a rich backing to her unyielding Pre-Raphaelite vocals.
