Formed in Autumn, 2025, Blues Hologram is a Canadian band led by vocalist Nicole Whitney Dubinsky and composer/pianist Robert Bruce that incorporates various elements of jazz, blues, R&B, rock and pop. Their collaboration is notable in that both members have established careers in various aspects of classical music but both also have equal involvement in and passion for music in many other styles and genres, including many avenues of popular music. Any musical element or direction they resonate with is fair game and their resulting original songs, which are featured on their debut album (to be released in May, 2026), offer a unique depth, freshness and spontaneity that is tangible on every track. Nicole Whitney Dubinsky’s incredible vocal range, both in terms of style and as a Coloratura Soprano, combined with her warm tone and uncanny flair for intimate and deeply musical phrasing, establishes both an excitement and a rather addictive comforting quality that largely defines Blues Hologram’s sound.
