As front man of an award-winning reggae-rock band, Trinidad-born King Sagz toured North America and was instrumental in creating a big ol’ bunch of wonderful tunes and good times. However, after a break from music and a lifelong struggle with depression came to a head, he realized he needed to find a new way forward. He found mindfulness, got the necessary support and started making a new kind of music. Music that incorporates all the styles he loves (so, ALL the styles), talks about what he’s been through, and most importantly, celebrates what could be. His greatest hope is that his music inspires people to celebrate what could be for themselves as well. He believes we can all do better, be better and feel better.
