HORMOANS are described as “demonic surf-punk with a junk noise mutation” by Exclaim! and touted as one of NOW magazine’s “Top 10 Buzz Bands About to Break Big”. After their first two LP’s ignited a spark in Toronto’s underground scene, HORMOANS jumped into the studio with Darren McGill (METZ, PUP) and released the recent LP, ‘Ground Score’ which has been lauded as a “rambunctious, animated theatrical garage rock soiree”. The band has acquired a new rhythm guitarist and are currently working on a follow up album, which promises a stripped down, exciting new direction.
