Green Tea Bitches is a Chinese-Danish electro punk duo that builds on differences. Formed by Beijing-born vocalist/bassist Quinn Liu and Copenhagen based guitarist/vocalist Emil Lund Pedersen, the band grew out of a shared love for raw punk energy and electronic beats. Their sound fuses distorted guitar, bass, vocals, and drum machines, a mix that is energetic, catchy and danceable. They look up to bands like Talking Heads, Viagra Boys, LCD Soundsystem and 100 Gecs. Their cross-cultural attitude creates a party where differences collide and everyone’s invited. For Green Tea Bitches, “bad taste” is just another word for freedom. They embrace the silly, the noisy, the glittery, and the awkward, turning it into a danceable mess.
