MAZA is Texas-made with Louisiana Creole Heritage and combines both into his sound. The music weaves in elements of Jazz, Blues, Country, and Soul, centered in the world of psychedelia. As this project truly began in 2021 in the midst of the pandemic, it blossomed to life in 2023 with the Unraveled Mind EP, where MAZA introduces introspective thoughts over Jazz-influenced compositions and dreamy melodies. Singles such as Hand and Hand, Hooked, and “Dis Neighbourhood” are consistent with the evolution of the Psychedelic Soul – Alternative Jazz Sound. Lately, MAZA has been able excel landing his first festival show with POP Montreal, as well doing a string of live session with City Session, Shelf Concerts, and SoFar Sounds over the last year. Currently in progress for the release of his for his next EP Pathways.
