Matt Lazenby is a Montreal singer songwriter originally from the UK. For years, he has played in various projects as a guitarist, including GAMIQ nominated ‘The Constant Supervision’ and the solo project of Sabrina Halde (ex-Groenland), HALDE. In May, 2024, he released his first solo album entitled ‘Clouds of Dragonflies’. The album is a collection of nine beautifully crafted folk songs, ranging in influence from British pastoral to Americana and alternative. The album was warmly received, being featured on Québec television, CBC radio, various Apple playlists and college radio stations across Canada. As a solo artist, Lazenby has been playing shows across Québec and Ontario, sharing the stage with artists such as Jeffrey Lewis, Ada Lea and Claude Munson.
