ELLE is an occult rock band from Brasília, formed by Marcos Magalhães in 2018, in the Federal District. In 2021, Johann Rallynson became the producer of what was then just a project, joining the band as a guitarist starting in 2023. The band will feature Rafael Silveira on drums starting in 2025, as they prepare to release their next studio EP, “The Last Moon,” which was recorded with drummers Eleni Nota (formerly of NERVOSA) and Emerson Santos – the latter played on only one song on the EP, “A Star Has Risen In The Morning.” The band’s latest single, released last Friday the 13th, “Flies,” will be their final single before the release of their EP, “The Last Moon,” which will be released in late 2025. Marcos Magalhães plays bass and guitars in the studio and is the band’s live vocalist and bassist. Johann Rallynson, in addition to producing, is a guitarist and pianist in the studio and a live guitar player. In 2025, all of the band’s single covers were designed by Kodak’s ambassador in Brazil, Mariana Montrazi.
