Lowell is a GRAMMY and JUNO Award-winning songwriter and producer, known for her collaborations with Beyonce, Tate McRae, Charlie XCX, The Beaches, Sofia Camara, and countless others. As the inaugural recipient of the JUNO Award for Songwriter of the Year (Non-Performing), Lowell co-wrote “Texas Hold’em” and “Bodyguard” on Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter, which took home GRAMMY Awards for Album and Country Album of the Year. This past year, Lowell focused her songwriting and production efforts on breaking two promising artists: Sofia Camara and Baby Nova. Lending her creative talents, songs like “Girls Like You” and “Too Pretty For Buffalo” perfectly marry the respective artists’ authentic voices with Lowell’s unmistakable magic touch. In addition, Lowell once again co-piloted several songs on The Beaches latest album, including standouts “Can I Call You in the Morning” and “Takes One to Know One”. Specializing in artist development, she has consistently been involved in breaking artists, whether it be producing, writing or A&R’ing projects, which has led to a consulting role as an A&R executive with Universal Music Canada, strategically guiding their domestic roster strategy.
