About

Lovina

LOV is a soulful singer-songwriter from Treaty 6 Territory whose music channels strength, vulnerability, and spirit. With a sound rooted in UK-inspired soul and guided by her Cree identity, LOV transforms personal experiences into empowering anthems. Since emerging in 2025, she has built an organic and growing fanbase through storytelling-driven content across TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram, amassing over 130K followers and 9 million video views. Her breakout singles — Mama, Matriarch, and Relate — have earned over 800,000 streams, charted on the Indigenous Music Countdown, and landed on Spotify and Apple Music editorial playlists. Her debut album Iskwêw arrives in May 2026 and pays tribute to generations of matriarchs, combining modern soul with cultural threads from her Cree heritage. LOV is a rising voice in Canadian music, recently invited to be an Artist-in-Residence at Allied Music Centre (Massey Hall). She’s performed across the country and is quickly gaining recognition as one of Canada’s most exciting emerging Indigenous artists.
