Milk Rain is a dairy-fed queer rock-band found mostly in Dublin, Ireland. Formed around the fixations of songwriter Lisa Milk Murnane, Thomas Earls (guitar), Maeve Costello (bass), and Conor O’Boyle (drums). Intricately lyrical and personal songs woven together with playfully distorted guitar, an effervescent, bouncing bass line, and a walloping rhythm section all come together to support the band’s energy and wacky antics. Claiming their genre to be “post-coital surf rock”, this group combines indie, punk, surf rock and classic rock, with a dash of inspiration from the B 52’s, Beat Happening and Bikini Kill. Their debut Christmas single “Merry Fucking December” was released early December 2025, with an upcoming EP in Spring 2026.
