The stage has always been home for Liam Taylor. The Chicago-based pop artist has long been recognized for his four-octave voice and its impressive vocal gymnastics. Growing up as a queer boy in Texas, he found solace in the theater, and now channels that same performance into his bold, emotional sound. His eclectic music has already brought him to major stages, including Lollapalooza, Market Days, and Taste of Chicago, as well as headlining shows in New York, Dallas, and Germany. At 18, Liam moved to Chicago. He also spent a pivotal year in Germany recording his debut album, refining his artistry, and taking his professional skills to the next level. Since his first release in 2022, Liam has collaborated with artists like Johnathon McReynolds, Erykah Badu, and Woody Goss. Videos of him singing went viral in 2023, racking up millions of views and earning praise from moguls like Ariana Grande. In 2024, he released his long awaited debut album ‘26 missed calls’, which has already reached half a million streams, as well as getting a shoutout from NPR for its Tiny Desk 2025 submission, which featured the album’s titular track.
