Heavy and melancholic, innerouter’s dream grunge is a nostalgic trip to the 90s. Blending the floatiness of shoegaze and the chunkiness of grunge, they are a loud and dynamic band, featuring vocals that weave haunting melodies on top of dissonant chords and rolling riffs. Innerouter creates a captivating seamless performance , inviting the listener to tune in to themselves to transcend the everyday. Innerouter launched into 2025 on the heels of their first full length release Get Real . The album charted locally on CJSW, gaining them a radio show guest spot, igniting local and online buzz, and adds to new playlists. They went on to have a busy year playing shows locally and out-of-province, including festivals Sled Island and Massif, opening for artists such as Down the Lees, Adolyne and Samwoy. Having gained recognition locally as one of the leading heavy-shoegaze bands, and amassing a small following, promoters regularly call on them to support suitable acts. The band is comprised of members that have had successes in past projects (Sunny Dhak: 3 Inches of Blood, Pride Tiger, and Tom Prilesky: The Wind Whistles) including international tours, major label signings, and Juno nominations.
