Justin Faulknor is a Canadian singer-songwriter whose nostalgic style draws inspiration from the timeless talents of classic rock, blues and folk. Like Bob Dylan, he moves between styles with artistry and a masterful understanding of songwriting. His poetic honesty and insightful wit lend a universality to his lyrics. From heart-achingly gentle ballads to raucous rock tunes, there is a quality to his music that is uniquely and recognizably his. Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Justin is a graduate of McMaster University as well as the Sheridan College Media Arts program. His first independent album, ‘line forms here’ was well received in 2008, with the song ‘Winter Blues’ making it to the final four of CBC’s regional Searchlight music contest in 2014. He followed this with the impressive independently released ‘Staring at the Sun’ in 2019. Justin’s latest album (2025) ‘Far From Home’ and the single/music video ‘Girl Like You’ has been featured in Tinnitist, Cashbox Canada, Record World International, Canadian Beats, and ToughPigs.
