In writing their first studio album, The Art of Erosion, Indigo Elephant spent all of 2024 rediscovering what it meant to be a band. Composed of Julius Pasion (drums), Cliff Yang (guitar), and Brenden Phung (guitar, synth), the group crafted a project that represented each member as openly as possible—smashing all their desires together and making sense of the madness. Within that chaos lies vulnerability, and sometimes even understanding. The Art of Erosion holds all of the band’s uncertainty, introspection, and bittersweet feelings, capturing a moment in time where tension and release came in equal measure. While Indigo Elephant has been together for nearly eight years, the band sees the end of one era as the beginning of another. With the addition of new member Levi Storm (bass), they’re taking their first steps toward what truly feels like their sound.
