Joseph Sarenhes is a Québec-based artist of Guinean and Indigenous (Huron-Wendat Nation) descent whose music blends hip-hop, rock, and R&B with traditional Afro-Indigenous elements. A dynamic MC, singer, and multi-instrumentalist, he has opened for artists including The Black Eyed Peas and Rick Ross, and is known for immersive live performances featuring Indigenous and African dancers in traditional regalia. In 2026, he is entering a new artistic chapter with two self-produced forthcoming releases, “Wendigo” and “Villains Everywhere.” Inspired by a Northern Indigenous legend, “Wendigo” transforms fear into power through a primal, high-impact hip-hop sound rooted in tradition, while “Villains Everywhere” is a cinematic, adrenaline-fueled anthem of bold, unapologetic confidence. Joseph’s rise has earned recognition including Radio-Canada’s Musical Revelation of the Year (2023–2024), RBCxMusic First Up Featured Artist (2023), and Black History Month Laureate by the City of Montreal (2024). His work has surpassed 1.2 million streams and views globally.
