Jordan Armstrong grew up in Scarborough, Ontario and has carved out a unique space for herself as a musical director in Canada’s comedy and theatre scenes. Known for her improvised accompaniment and band leadership Jordan began channeling her collaborative spirit into deeply personal original music that blends vulnerability and sophistication. Now stepping out from behind the piano to take centre stage, Jordan is embracing her own voice as a songwriter. Recorded and produced during a series of late night home studio sessions, her 2022 debut solo EP Dual explores storytelling through song, offering a fresh, unfiltered expression of her creative voice. Jordan’s first full length album This Engine, released Oct 2025, is a modern-era sophistipop for those longing for the heyday of Kate Bush, Armstrong is both our mirror and the shoulder we lean on for life’s jagged moments.
