Sol Gold is a pop singer-songwriter from the culturally rich country of Belize, blending pop, R&B, and Caribbean influences into emotionally driven music. He discovered his passion for music at a young age, beginning with drums before developing a performance style rooted in rhythm, presence, and connection. At 17, Sol moved to Canada alone to pursue music, a defining step that shaped both his sound and perspective. His music draws from lived experience, including periods of financial hardship and homelessness. Rather than dwelling in struggle, Sol transforms these moments into songs centered on resilience, healing, and self-discovery. In 2017, Sol won Manitoba’s CJ107 Most Talented Performer title. In 2021, his collaboration with MellyQueen, Lento Y Pegadito, became a summer anthem within the Latin community, followed by a 2022 partnership with RBC to headline a concert at Toronto’s Don on Danforth. Now performing under the name Sol Gold, he enters 2026 focused on releasing some of his strongest work to date. With each release, he invites listeners into themes of self-discovery, resilience, and, above all, never giving up on yourself.
