The name is TT also known as TT Is a singer songwriter from Toronto, she is a first generation immigrant. TT creates music that represents her home town as well as her home land, Congo, creating a fusion that unites the Congolese diaspora and the toronto sound bending the genres of rnb hip-hop and afrobeat to create a sound unique to her. TT’s early influences are from Congolese gospel, afrobeats artist such as Burnaby and wizkid and melodic rappers such as Drake. Since the start of has been on the pursuit of greatness, having the opportunity to perform at Massey hall, with the honey jam, el macombo for departure fest, Pearson airport for their yyz black history month line up. TT creates because she feels that there is a lack of Congolese representation in the Canadian music scene amongst the youth. She is now working on releasing her first EP where she explores the fusion of Congolese and Toronto music, With records in both French and English.
