New faces on the Quebec music scene since 2023, The Wild Palominos is a neo-traditional country/folk band from Montmagny Félix Guimond, Olivier Tanguay and Jérémy Boulet offer a country sound inspired by some of America’s greatest country legends such as Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson and Brooks & Dunn. They released their first EP You Like Missing Me in 2023 and quickly built momentum with festival performances at Lasso Montreal, Festival Country Lotbinière, Norwest Festival, and opened for Aaron Goodvin at Festival Western de St-Tite. Their debut full-length album Wilder dropped in September 2024, with shows in St-Tite, Montreal, Montmagny, and their first set outside of Quebec at the CCMA Crawl in Edmonton during the Canadian Country Music Association Awards celebrations. Summer 2025 took them across Canada with standout performances at Cavendish Beach Music Festival opening for Shania Twain, Country Thunder festival and King Eddy. Riding this momentum, their new album Dancehall Revival is set for release in Fall 2026.
