Jazzmin Gray is a Toronto based singer songwriter whose music lives at the intersection of vulnerability and power. Born in Iran and now creating in Canada, her artistic voice is shaped by silence, longing, and the pursuit of freedom. Growing up in Iran, she was not allowed to sing publicly, an absence that became the emotional core of her relationship with music. Her work draws from Persian poetry and the rhythms and soul of jazz, R&B, and blues, blended into modern pop expression. She is currently working toward her debut album, scheduled for release in 2026. She holds a degree in music with a background in classical music, which informs her sense of scale, structure, and emotional intensity. Her debut single “Prelude,” produced by Aaron Paris (Ariana Grande, Drake, Kali Uchis), introduces a cinematic world of sweeping piano, dramatic string arrangements, and unrestrained vocal performance. The song captures the feeling of standing at the edge of a beginning that never seems to arrive, transforming quiet ache into sound and reflecting Jazzmin’s journey of reclaiming her voice.
