At just 18 years of age, Summer has won a MusicNL award for Indigenous Artist of the Year and a 2025 ECMA award for Dance Release of the Year. She has also won the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) in the Teen category and was named “Top Teen” in the 2024 National CBC Searchlight competition. She has recently attended “Prodigy Camp” in Washington State for songwriting with teens from around the world – a camp that was taught by Chappel Roan. She has also just returned from New jersey for a mentorship with Grammy winning artist “Seal”. Summer is signed with Scilly Cove Records and is working with multi-Grammy Award winning producer Greg Wells (Wicked, Katy Perry, Michael Buble, etc.). Her debut EP “One Thousand Fahrenheit” is now streaming everywhere.
