SRE (pronounced “sorry”) is a distinct, fierce voice rising out of Scarborough, ON. One of Canada’s most versatile new artists, he bends genres with ease—moving from razor-sharp rhymes to soul-driven melodies while delivering a fresh, cinematic perspective in every track. Recently crowned the winner of the RISE + Flow competition—outshining more than 200 artists in the race to become Toronto’s Next Big Artist—SRE proved his momentum with the creation of his standout single “CHEST” created during the competition. SRE also teamed up with Canadian Hall of Famer Randy Bachman to create “I Want It All, A Tribute to The Blue Jays,” a track embraced by the Toronto Blue Jays during their electrifying World Series run. Bachman, known for The Guess Who and Bachman-Turner Overdrive, is the songwriter behind Elvis Presley’s favourite hit, “Takin’ Care of Business.” From opening for Juno Award winners Tona and Haviah Mighty, to performing alongside Everything OShauN, Elderbrook, Vandelux, Omega Mighty, and Hip-Hop legend Choclair, SRE continues to solidify his place in the next wave of Canadian music.
