Pony Girl is a shape-shifting art-rock collective hailed for their “pop art mastery” (Earmilk) and live shows that are “astonishing to experience” (Exclaim!) and “pure magic to see live” (Ottawa Showbox). Blending artful pop, rock guitar, jazz drumming and electronic textures, Pony Girl crafts an immersive sound that transforms the familiar into something surreal. After self-releasing two albums, the band signed with Paper Bag Records (Broken Social Scene, Austra, Stars) to unveil two acclaimed records, Enny One Wil Love You and Laff It Off. Their music has charted across North America (#1 on CBC Radio 3), with features on KEXP, KCRW, Radio-Canada, and Exclaim! (“Staff Pick”), earning multiple Capital Music Awards. Their live shows combine next-level musicianship and conceptual flair, honed through more than a decade of performances at venues and festivals including SXSW, POP Montréal, and Canada’s National Arts Centre. Constantly reimagining their approach to performance and storytelling, Pony Girl stands at the forefront of Canada’s art-pop landscape. They are recipients of Le Prix du Festival d’Été du Québec. In 2026, Pony Girl will be showcasing new music from FIRE!, the band’s (unreleased) new album and live show.
