Neon Bloom formed in Toronto, 2017. Combining the talents of artists Jen Simpson (vocals), Simon Chow (guitarist/keyboards) Chris Romano (drums), and Fred Yurichuk (bass). Neon Bloom have established themselves as one of the most innovative and energetic live bands in the Toronto music scene. Neon Bloom have much experience on the road, having toured in Taiwan in 2018, performing at the Spring Scream Festival, a tour in the Czech Republic in 2019, and touring in Japan in 2022, performing at the Tokyo Beyond Festival. Neon Bloom’s first official release, an EP called First Fever, came out in late 2018, followed by the self-produced EP Still Life released in 2020. In 2023, Neon Bloom released the single “One Last Time” accompanied by a music video filmed in Japan. Single, “Lovers Dance”, which received radio play across Canada. Allan Cross has chosen Neon Bloom three times for his “Weekly Music Picks”. Tracks ‘Tangerine’ and ‘Our Faces’ were featured in ‘The Love Club Moms’ feature film series. Neon Bloom have had the honour to perform at Edge 102.1 Sugar Beach concert series. Neon Bloom released their critically acclaimed first full-length album, “Begin Here” in 2025.
