Evan Rotella is a singer-songwriter from Niagara Falls, Ontario who has been performing live and writing songs for nearly a decade. He began making waves with his 2020 vinyl release of “(If I Was A) Rockstar,” featuring notable Pittsburgh musicians Danny Gochnour and Joe Munroe, and followed it with a collection of acoustic originals titled The Demo Tapes in 2021. Evan’s sound and stage presence have been shaped by years of playing everywhere from local bars and festivals to the legendary Stone Pony for the past 5 years in Asbury Park, New Jersey. He has opened for an impressive list of artists including Steve Earle, Southside Johnny, and Stephen Page, and collaborated with talents such as Dave Rave, Astrid Young and Stephen Stanley. His 2023 debut album Happy To Be Here showcased 10 original songs produced by Mark and Myles Rogers, and was followed in late 2024 by his folk release, Last Train Home, a stripped-down acoustic record. Evan continues to build momentum with festival performances at Light of Day Asbury Park, Mariposa Folk Festival, NXNE, and Supercrawl in 2025, and is currently in the studio recording a new album with producer John-Angus Macdonald from The Trews.
