About

Eryn

NYRE is Toronto’s neon siren: a dark-pop storyteller who turns catastrophic heartbreak and lethal ambition into velvet-knife lyrics and beats colder than a Canadian winter. Onstage she’s vulnerable and ruthless, compelling crowds into shadow realms; online she builds violet worlds of ethereal escapism, cinematic, addictive, unmistakably hers, to the core. Her mission is simple and sharp: love yourself, audaciously. Through confessional hooks and diaristic visuals, NYRE writes to the anxious, the avoidant, the beautifully complicated, helping listeners with mental-health challenges feel seen, heard, and less alone than the spiral suggests. In January 2025 she released her debut EP, Avoidant, and earned three Spotify editorial playlist placements. “It Should Be You,” a standout from the EP, won Toronto Honours’ Single of the Year. Earlier in her career, the single “Youth” landed a sync in a series on Disney+ and Hulu, proof that her songs haunt screens as easily as they flood rooms. Behind the scenes, NYRE’s team expanded dramatically this year, with creative, live, and marketing moving in tight formation to scale the myth without sanding the edges. She is currently recording a new project for an early 2026 release; bigger stakes, sharper silhouettes, a brighter kind of darkness.
