Eric Nguyen is the Senior Vice President of Global Corporate Development & M&A, leading a team of 20+ professionals across mergers and acquisitions, investments, integration, and operations. Since joining Create, Eric has built the company’s M&A program from the ground up, overseeing the deployment of more than $250 million in capital and supporting a valuation in excess of $1 billion. Under his leadership, Create has executed numerous strategic transactions, including label acquisitions such as Monstercat, !K7, mau5trap (deadmau5), Enhanced, and Ostereo, as well as joint ventures with Pack Records, One Land Records, Elysian, and Void. Eric began his career at KPMG in M&A Advisory before moving in-house to SOCAN, where he played a key role in the acquisitions of Audiam and MediaNet, later leading the purchase of SODRAC to establish mechanical collections within SOCAN.
