Refestramus is a Chicago-based progressive rock project led by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Derek Ferguson. Built around cinematic storytelling and modern melodic rock, Refestramus creates immersive, emotionally charged songs that appeal both to dedicated prog fans and to listeners discovering the genre for the first time. The band’s upcoming 2026 album, Morri’s Rock Boutique, marks its most ambitious work yet, featuring collaborations with iconic musicians including David Jackson (Van Der Graaf Generator), Joe Deninzon (Kansas), and Rick Witkowski (Crack the Sky). Refestramus is currenly expanding their North American footprint, with a strategic focus on festival showcases, partnerships and releasing high-quality live content throughout the coming year.
